Description

“Girls like me are not afraid of wolves."

The top of the food chain is reserved for the strong, the bold...the meat-eaters. They are the one's who go rewarded while their counterparts find themselves used and neglected. Or a least that's how it feels when you are the prey.

After reaching her tipping point, writer Rachel Copel battles the wolves that plague her everyday life in this bold reimagining of Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf. This classic tale takes a wild turn as a young woman takes the helm. But will it be enough for the prey to outsmart the predator? With live music, acrobatics, and a feminist twist, you've never seen Peter and the Wolf quite like this.

This is PHASE ONE of a two-part project. Come join the Oddities and be there at the start of something new. With great thanks to Oracle Productions and in the support of public access theatre, this development project will be FREE to the public.

PHASE ONE of Peter and the Wolf is playing at Oracle Productions (3809 N. Broadway) June 17-19th.
